airBaltic is a state-owned Latvian low-cost carrier and the country's flag carrier. We are a regional airline taking the best practices both from traditional network airlines and ultra-low-cost carriers. We offer passengers economy as well as full business class service. Our main priorities are safety, punctuality and service. As of right now, we serve 24 destinations from our home base in Riga, Latvia and our fleet consist of in total 8 aircraft – Bombardier CS300.

Management

airBaltic is a joint stock company that was established in 2018. Its primary shareholder is the Latvian state, which holds 80.05% of the stock, while Lars Thuesen holds around 20% through his fully-owned Aircraft Leasing 1 SIA.

The CS300 aircraft offers excellent flying experience with benefits for passengers such as wider seats, larger windows, more hand luggage space in the cabin, improved lavatories and other. The aircraft is also much quieter. It is also the greenest commercial aircraft in the world, as it is the first aircraft to have a transparent declaration of the life-cycle environmental impact, helping to reduce CO2 and NOX emissions by 20% and 50% respectively.

Codeshare Partners

Codeshare is a commercial agreement between two airlines, where one airline operates the flight and the other markets this flight and issue tickets for it as if they were operating the flight themselves. Location: Schengen departures sector (on the way to the North Pier)

The Business Lounge offers a wider range of services and impeccable service quality. The lounge is light and spacious, with 100 comfy seats and offers a self-serve buffet; a bar with a wide range of beverages, as well as tea, coffee and various refreshments. Lounge guests can use a conference room, comfortable for 8 – 10 people equipped with a TV screen for videos or presentations. There is also a shower with towels and other shower accessories and 16 free luggage safe-deposit boxes We have also thought about passengers travelling with children and offer a separate children's room, where the youngest passengers can spend their time working with Lego blocks, playing games, watching a cartoon or playing PlayStation video games. There is also a cosy nursery with a baby-changing table.

Over Four Thousand Passengers Travel

Riga. The Latvian airline airBaltic on the first day of operations has transported 4,350 passengers to its network of 5 destinations. A total of 30 fights were operated with the Bombardier CS300 aircraft. Martin Gauss, Chief Executive Officer of airBaltic: “Step by step we are entering the giant European market. With airBaltic in the First Five Days of Operations

Riga. The Latvian airline airBaltic in the first 5 days of operations has transported a total of 21,066 passengers to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia and Russia. Martin Gauss, Chief Executive Officer of airBaltic: “First five days of our operations were outstanding for airBaltic. We launched 15 new destinations, onboard our five brand-new Bombardier CS300 aircraft. Our team has done a fantastic job of making sure everything runs smoothly. We hope to beat our passenger records every 5 days." The airline’s load factor, which represents the number of passengers as a proportion of the number of available seats, was at a level of 96.86% for the first 5 days of operations. airBaltic operated a total of 150 flights.
