He was paying way too much for the web hosting and just couldn't fund it out of his own pocket anymore.

I disagree Admin. People were donating and requesting updates all the time but he never heard. I think he wanted to finish the game because he got bored of it. I donated a couple of times but the game was stagnant. People stoped donating step by step untill the game was finished.
