RE: Seat configuration - POTKC - 04-08-2017 I've only flown business class once, and that was in a crappy 20-year-old B738 belonging to a Russian charter airline, but 2.25 seems about right. It depends on the size of the aircraft though - economy class on a 737 vs a 777 would be roughly the same size, but while a business class seat in a 737 is just sort of wider, longer, and...fatter/softer (?) than economy, in a 777 it is more likely to be a booth with a full lie-flat unfolding seat, more storage space, a bigger screen, etcetera. Depends on the airline really. This sort of thing is probably not worth simulating though... RE: Seat configuration - Unknown98 - 04-08-2017 What we could do later on down the road is let users choose a seat type for each class. That would change the amount of seat slots each class takes up instead of it being static. So you'd have something like: Basic economy seat - same as now, 1 slot per seat. Limited recline, small width, etc. Standard economy seat - slightly nicer, 1.1 or 1.2 slots per seat. More recline, wider, etc. Superior economy seat - much nicer, 1.3 or 1.4 slots per seat. Most recline, wider, etc. And you would have those 3 options for every class. Then the reputation factor would take into account seat type as well. |
