Well yes that's how it's done but it's not quite that simple. It's a combination of client-side scripting and server-side scripting. I'd have to use jQuery/Ajax to update the [Ready At] times for each leg without refreshing the page. Then I'd have to make sure all the other times take into account the new time and adjust all those numbers in real-time. I'm just not that great with those types of things.

It would be cool, and I can probably try it once I get everything working but right now it's not at the top of my list.

Ok, I see.

RE: New Route System - Ryan97 - 04-08-2017

To be fair, I don't find it that difficult to calculate that manually. As long as you know your aircrafts turnaround time...

RE: New Route System - Unknown98 - 04-08-2017

You don't even need to know the turnaround time, all you need to know is the total extra time you've added to the prior flights. Which is optional really, the only reason you'd do that is to make the times even (depart at 14:30 instead of 14:27, etc). Or perhaps once delays are implemented you could adjust times a bit further apart to protect against delays. Although the same thing could be accomplished by making the aircraft's turnaround time longer.

As it is now you could just make the route as it is presented to you by setting the departure times equal exactly to the "Ready At" times and everything would turn out fine.

Ah that's okay. Sounds simple enough

RE: New Route System - Ryan97 - 04-10-2017

When it is done, if you assign a route to a specific aircraft, is that aircraft then committed to that route or can it be cancelled?

RE: New Route System - Unknown98 - 04-10-2017

I'm not sure yet. I haven't got that far lol

RE: New Route System - chaitanya - 04-12-2017

If say I want to do a flight from Delhi to New York to Delhi... then would I set up 1 stop or 2 stops?

RE: New Route System - Ryan97 - 04-12-2017

I would be 2 stops I believe. Delhi being your origin and Newyork and Delhi being the 2 stops

Thank you! Big Grin
