I'm not entirely sure how most of these restrictions work, if this were to be implemented we'd have some studying to do.

You can always start with the basic only fly to/from your home country and then work to add in exceptions. The freedom flights are tricky so I'd have to think if there's a simplistic way to do that

Would the game then also include exceptions to this rule where they are in real life? (e.g. EU, ASEAN (to some extent) and US-Japan)

Ideally, yes.

This is still far in the future, but how would you guys feel if political restrictions were implemented, alongside with the ability to create subsidiary airlines? So you could do something like what the Virgin Group does with their various Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Australia, Virgin America etc brands.

I'm I in two minds about this to be honest. I do like the sound of being able to create subsidiary airlines tho

I think this is potentially the best compromise. I don't think it would be worthwhile adding in complications regarding company ownership (ie. Some countries have limits for how much of a company can be owned overseas). I also think making a subsidiary should be an expensive endever. I wouldn't have any hard limits on the number of subsidiaries, but i think they should be expensive.

I was against restrictions but one way to justify them is by adding subsidiaries.

RE: Political restrictions - POTKC - 03-22-2017

Sill not so sure how I feel about restrictions, but would it be possible to create subsidiary airlines anyway? Even if there are no restrictions?

RE: Political restrictions - Ryan97 - 03-22-2017

This would be a cool feature to have. I think political restrictions would make the game too complicated
