There's been some discussion on alliances here: https://issuetracker.airlineenterprise.com/AirlineEnterprise/IssueTracker/issues/212

As for a timeline on implementation most likely post-beta.

IFE cost and pricing data has been implemented into the flights now.

Both the price you charge as well as the quality of entertainment you offer will determine how many passengers purchase access to your IFE system in each class.

Premium economy passengers are slightly more likely to purchase access than economy passengers, business passengers are slightly more likely to purchase access than premium economy passengers, and so on.

A cheaper price = more chance that passengers will purchase access.
A better quality IFE system = you can charge more and there is a higher chance people will still purchase access.

For Wifi access, and alcoholic drinks, it is not separated by class, it is a simple the more you charge the less likely people will buy.

In the future, the alcoholic drinks will probably be moved to the IFS system rather than being connected to the bar option in IFE.

Hi as you said, in the future the IFE and IFS will be taken into account in the demand of a route but will it change if we charge or not for the services?

Thanks,
Pol

Yes, indirectly. Charging for services will slightly lower the rating of that configuration, which in turn (once the new rep system is in place) will lower your reputation, which results in decreased demand.

Keep in mind for low cost carriers, cheaper ticket prices will combat that by increasing demand. So in theory cheap ticket price + cost for services ≈ expensive ticket price + free services.
