at least they have a real subway. We have to call ours light rail system.

What city are you in? Seattle has a light rail from what I’ve heard, but one line is pretty pathetic. They also have the monorail, but that’s only 1 mile long lmao.

Seattle. You guessed it!
Monorail is useless and the link light rail is tolerable but at least you can get a view of Seatac airport

In Singapore, yes, public transport is the main mode of transport, but it is not bad at all. You can travel from anywhere in Singapore to anywhere else within at most 1.5 - 2 hours, the island is that big Big Grin. Our buses are not scheduled but usually comes in five minute frequencies, and the total pricing is very very cheap ($2-3 and you can get anywhere; the transport system pricing is linked, buses and trains and all). The system is not comfy (not like those double-deckered Sydney trains with cushioned seats everywhere), but it is very much clean Big Grin. Of course Singaporeans find ways to complain, like those once-in-a-blue-moon train system breakdowns, but generally the place is very well connected, and they are still trying to open two new MRT lines!

Seattle too. You just need to buy an Orca card and it will be transferrable to other systems in seattle and tacoma. I'm kinda disappointed cause their master plan is to be completed in 2040 so I'm never gonna use the completed system.

My hometown of Charlotte has a light rail system, but it too is just one line and it doesn't even go to the airport.

I do have to say that Zurich has a great system tho, I'm here for another day and its been really easy to get around

RE: Last Post Wins Round 4 - Zortan - 11-16-2018

Yeah seattle is pretty terrible for public transit.

The bus nearest to my house there comes three times per day - very depressing lol.

But the orca system is decent. Too bad I'm leaving in 2020 so I can't see the new system, and the link to Mercer Island (where my house is)

Sacramento too. They have a light rail system and a state-run train line to San Jose and their light-rail system sucks.
