RE: Inaccurate Airport Data - WhiteFright - 11-03-2018 PVD's runway is actually 8700ft RE: Inaccurate Airport Data - Zortan - 11-09-2018 IXM has 1442807 pax. Pls update it fast I’m losing Money from this airport lol. RE: Inaccurate Airport Data - WhiteFright - 11-09-2018 SAT has 9,063,542 passengers according to the FAA as opposed to the 3mil or so it has in game right now RE: Inaccurate Airport Data - Unknown98 - 11-10-2018 Both updated RE: Inaccurate Airport Data - WhiteFright - 11-10-2018 LIR has 1,092,483 passengers. Also PVD's runway length still needs to be fixed. It should be 8700ft as mentioned above. RE: Inaccurate Airport Data - Unknown98 - 11-15-2018 both fixed RE: Inaccurate Airport Data - Trogdor - 11-20-2018 So I've got a question - apologies if I've missed something I had a look at some airport data, and it seems pretty accurate. But the passenger numbers on routes seems very low in some cases. For example - data for Sydney airport (SYD) has it at 42 million or so annual pax, which is pretty close. But if I research a route from SYD-MEL, it shows current pax numbers at 29 Weekly Flights and 5,034 Weekly Passengers (I think this is actually the daily figure and means flights that run every weekday, but I'm not sure). However, the actual numbers of people flying that route is just over 9 million per year = 24,657 per day. Likewise BNE-SYD is 4.7 million pax per year, but seems much lower in-game Again, not sure if I've missed something
RE: Inaccurate Airport Data - Unknown98 - 11-20-2018 That's the current in-game supply for that route - it just means that 5,034 passengers were transported over the past 7 days from SYD to MEL. Estimated per-flight demand figures can be seen in the "estimated route performance" table below. RE: Inaccurate Airport Data - ch4rl1e_99 - 11-21-2018 Luton Airport to be renamed to London Luton Airport. (LTN) Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield to be renamed to Doncaster Sheffield Airport. (DSA) - Passengers to be updated to 1,335,590. - Runway length to be updated to 9,491. Aberdeen Airport to be renamed to Aberdeen International Airport. (ABZ) - Passengers to be updated to 3,090,692. Alderney Airport. (ACI) - Passengers to be updates to 54,760. RE: Inaccurate Airport Data - Anzatax - 11-29-2018 There is an extra airport in Turkey known as Istanbul Airport (IGA), with 90 million annual passengers. There is another airport in the game at exactly the same location with the same name but an IATA of ISL and 20 million annual pax. ISL is a real airport currently under construction, but IGA is not an airport in Instanbul, Turkey. IGA is the IATA code for Inagua Airport, Matthew Town, Inagua, Bahamas. IGA is also the name of the group who are building and managing the new Istanbul Airport (ISL); this may have caused the mistake in the IATA code, but I don't understand why there is a an entire new airport there that apparently does not exist in the real world .In 2017 Istanbul Atatürk Airport (IST) handled 63,727,448 passengers; in game it says 60,119,215, so that may need an update. The current airport data at IGA says 90 million, which is somewhat obviously incorrect (such a perfect number ); the large number seems to actually be the combined number of pax handled at both Istanbul Atatürk Airport and Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
