RE: Favorite Airbus Aircraft - Anzatax - 01-18-2019 I think the A330 looks slightly better due to its fewer engines - makes it feel cleaner. The A340 engines seem a bit too spread out. But I love both aircraft equally, as to me they are just twin brothers with a slight difference. Funnily enough, the A310 is the only aircraft from Airbus that I have almost no feelings for. It looks to me even more bloated than the A380
RE: Favorite Airbus Aircraft - sfk - 01-18-2019 A300/310 looks like they have very long landing gears. I always get afraid when they land, cause it's too long and thin, and might break. RE: Favorite Airbus Aircraft - Anzatax - 01-18-2019 Well then don't fly the Concorde - it is fast and has very long struts to match
RE: Favorite Airbus Aircraft - sfk - 01-18-2019 Ah forgot about that one. RE: Favorite Airbus Aircraft - Anzatax - 01-19-2019 AND it's only crash had something to do with the gears too...
RE: Favorite Airbus Aircraft - sfk - 01-19-2019 Haha that's true RE: Favorite Airbus Aircraft - Zortan - 01-20-2019 Nah it wasn't really the gear that caused that crash. A DC-10 left a metal strip on the runway, which the gear ran over, but then the engines sucked in and it punctured a fuel tank which caused a fire and stuff. RE: Favorite Airbus Aircraft - Anzatax - 01-20-2019 See? The gears ran over the metal strip, which caused the disaster. Of course I know what happened - and if the Concorde did not have gears it wouldn't have happened (at least not in this manner). XD That is nonsense, I know
RE: Favorite Airbus Aircraft - Zortan - 01-20-2019 If the concorde didn't have gears I don't think it'd work very well
RE: Favorite Airbus Aircraft - sfk - 01-20-2019 It doesnt need gears. They're called wheels
