Nice! Freakin' Delta and their love of Atlanta lol, making you go the wrong direction. My dad had to do the same thing on a trip earlier this year, HOU-ATL-DEN-GTF... like doubled the travel time. But there wasn't much choice.

lol. If its on a 777, i'll take it. xD Especially for such a crazy low price. I mean, there were other options, but i'd take a 777 over a CRJ 200 anyday. Big Grin

RE: Last Post Wins - Unknown98 - 05-14-2017

True that I guess. CRJ 200 sounds like it would suck long distance

RE: Last Post Wins - asianmattdog - 05-14-2017

Yeah... Sitting in a CRJ for 3 hours? No thanks. I'm in no hurry to get there. xD I'm visiting with cousins the days prior to the con, so I have no problem with going to ATL to fly in a bit more comfort via a 777-200ER vs that. xD

RE: Last Post Wins - Unknown98 - 05-14-2017

I was in a 737 (either -300 or -700, can't remember) for 4 hours and even that was pushing it.

RE: Last Post Wins - Carde - 05-14-2017

Spend 3.5 hours in an A320, yeah not fun at all.

But with the range and ETOPs that these modern small twin jets have you see them fly some seriously long haul stuff.

RE: Last Post Wins - asianmattdog - 05-15-2017

Yeah, same here. I just can't imagine sitting on an 757 for a trans-Atlantic flight... Just saying.

RE: Last Post Wins - Unknown98 - 05-15-2017

iceland air got some nice deals though lol

RE: Last Post Wins - skifans - 05-15-2017

Im not realy sure what you expect? Whats realy different about the bigger aircraft? I remember flying to/from Cyrpus which is 5 hours on an A321 and A330, barley noticed any difference. Are the larger planes that much better, I know the A330s are realy old now but still?

RE: Last Post Wins - Unknown98 - 05-15-2017

Well I've never actually been on a widebody so I can't say for sure but I'd assume just the feel of being in a larger space... less claustrophobic.
