RE: Last Post Wins - asianmattdog - 05-22-2017 Well... I'd personally take a 737 vs a Q400 anyday. xD RE: Last Post Wins - skifans - 05-22-2017 I always like props ![]() In vague real world news, a reminder for anyone in the UK you have until midnight tonight to register to vote. You will have to do this yourself, laws and rules were changed a few years ago so your parents will not be able to register you on your behath. And your university is no longer able to do so automatically. https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote RE: Last Post Wins - ALT2870 - 05-22-2017 (05-21-2017, 04:58 PM)Unknown98 Wrote: So I was looking at flights to get me to Bristol in August for the Nascar race, and American Airlines is price gouging the HELL outta some routes I swear... CLT-TRI (a 1 hr flight) is $567 PER PERSON... wtf. Welcome to my life, if I want to save myself a three hour drive exact same thing year round. Why fly to Myrtle Beach when Charlotte is at least closer. Looking at United non-stop $100 one way direct out of Houston. You'll be stuck on a 175. ![]() Oh, and screw Q400's. The Q certainly does not stand for quite.
RE: Last Post Wins - Unknown98 - 05-22-2017 I was planning on myrtle beach for Darlington, as the hotels are booked up in Florence already. But I think I'll just go to Richmond now ![]() I know the Q400 isn't the most comfortable plane but it'd be neat to experience it once. But I ain't paying $600 for the 'experience' lol RE: Last Post Wins - asianmattdog - 05-22-2017 Ehh, I'm still glad I'm eeking out on an Md-88, and flying back in on a 737-800. It easily coulda been an E170, or worse... a CRJ200... Dx RE: Last Post Wins - Unknown98 - 05-23-2017 Delta loves their CRJs don't they
RE: Last Post Wins - asianmattdog - 05-23-2017 Yup... Especially on their long-haul Domestic flights... All the directs were ran by American Eagle, and they only had CRJs going on it, for like $222/flight... I'd rather pay less, fly on two planes, and not slam my head as I get up, thanks...
RE: Last Post Wins - Unknown98 - 05-24-2017 Dang. $222 RT or one way? RE: Last Post Wins - asianmattdog - 05-25-2017 One way. So, for RT, it was like $450, and I was like "Nah." xD RE: Last Post Wins - Unknown98 - 05-25-2017 Dang. Yeah I had seen some $89 fares on SWA direct to LAX a few months ago but seems like they're gone now. |
