RE: Last Post Wins - skifans - 06-05-2017 Interesting, just wondered as iv never seen them shown on the UK, certainly not on national news. RE: Last Post Wins - Unknown98 - 06-05-2017 Must be American culture, we sure love our car chases I was actually born a few days after the infamous OJ Simpson car chase.
RE: Last Post Wins - sameel - 06-05-2017 I've seen a few on YouTube as well and they seem fun
RE: Last Post Wins - asianmattdog - 06-06-2017 If you ever do find yourself watching a montage of those high speed chases, especially the ones shot from LA helicopters, listen to the Benny Hill theme. It makes watching them 10x better. Especially if you speed them up. Can confirm. xD RE: Last Post Wins - Unknown98 - 06-07-2017 They usually come on during daytime television when literally nothing is on, so it always adds a bit of excitement to the day. About a year ago they ended up shooting the suspect on live TV after he crashed his car and then reached back into the vehicle. Idk about you but that's more entertaining than The View lol -edit- not necessarily that watching people get shot is entertaining... the chases are entertaining. Just wanted to clarify lol. Also happy birthday Sameel! Dont get too drunk. If that's even a thing you do. What's the drinking age in Pakistan lol? RE: Last Post Wins - sameel - 06-07-2017 Hahaha thanks man! I don't drink though I did have a killer mixed berry smoothie/chiller Had an exam in the morning and have two more left this week so couldn't even go out but I got alot of presents (mainly money) from my parents/close relatives so I'm happy![]() And about the drinking age I'm not really sure We don't have any real bars etc but some restaurants with licenses can serve it so I guess the limit would be 18 as that's when we get our ID cards etc!I think the reason is that we're such a Muslim majority country that you don't hear about or see any alcohol available in the open RE: Last Post Wins - Unknown98 - 06-08-2017 Ah, okay that makes sense. Well glad you enjoyed it! I wish the US would make it 18. I mean look at the list of countries that have a drinking age of 21: Côte d'Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Iraq, Kiribati, Micronesia, Mongolia, Nauru, Oman, Palau, Samoa, Sri Lanka. What a list. We're right up there with Iraq, lol. Not that it makes much difference I guess, everyone drinks at 16 anyway. RE: Last Post Wins - sameel - 06-10-2017 Yeah I've never understood the 21 age rule. Doesn't make sense. On a side note the UK elections were fun! RE: Last Post Wins - skifans - 06-10-2017 Isn't 21 just as arbitrary as 18? You don't just suddenly know what your doing. Interesting maybe. Feels like the last he elections event said that the exit pool was probably wrong and to treat it with care, but then it was basically bang on the mark. RE: Last Post Wins - sameel - 06-10-2017 Yeah it's the same when you try someone in a case as a minor. At what point should a kid know better? It's all very debatable. I'm just really glad Corbyn did well. Though the DUP is in government which is worrying! |
