Never played airline sim. Played airline mogul years ago, it's meh and hasn't been updated since I played it way back then.
Airwaysim is the best I've tried but it still lacks several features, development is slow (although it is being developed at least) and you have to pay.

I played Airline Mogul too, but right now I am only active on its forums (I don't want it to completely die out there
). The game needs a major overhaul but the staff seems to be a bit inactive now.I love the things you are doing with Airline Enterprise, Unk! Thanks for such a good job, and good luck with future developments!

I used to play Airline Mogul too, I remember everyone was doing 0.5 freq/day to all destinations cause that makes the most money.

It was a bug that was never resolved. If anything, Airline Mogul's HUGE library of aircrafts satisfy some cravings. I still play it every now and then, maybe for around 2-4 weeks, once a year

I don't really play when I have to keep paying them. I prefer one time purchase better. Even if it cost money. I like the feeling of keeping it forever instead of paying forever.

That is pretty much how the video game industry works nowadays. Rather than selling you cartridges, they milk you via microtransactions.
