RE: Last Post Wins Round 2 - Zortan - 09-12-2018 Yeah it’s gonna cost everyone a lot of money. RE: Last Post Wins Round 2 - Anzatax - 09-12-2018 And to think it usually happens every year, and still it seems like a once-in-a-lifetime event
RE: Last Post Wins Round 2 - Carde - 09-12-2018 A well lets just hope people will be ok. RE: Last Post Wins Round 2 - Zortan - 09-12-2018 Yes that's the important part. RE: Last Post Wins Round 2 - Archie2821 - 09-12-2018 It was looking like it was going to be the strongest storm to hit the Carolinas but its starting to weaken a bit, which is great RE: Last Post Wins Round 2 - Zortan - 09-12-2018 That's great RE: Last Post Wins Round 2 - WhiteFright - 09-12-2018 Ah yes. I flew home to Texas during Harvey, had to fly into AUS instead of HOU because HOU was closed. RE: Last Post Wins Round 2 - Zortan - 09-12-2018 Wow - that must have been interesting RE: Last Post Wins Round 2 - WhiteFright - 09-12-2018 Not really. I wouldn't normally go through AUS but it just puts an extra half hour on travel time to home. The only thing that sucked was that I booked last minute tickets, with Southwest offering free rebookings to AUS, DAL, or SAT for passengers going to HOU, so I paid $600 for a ticket that would normally run me about $150. Oh, and people panicked and bought a ton of gas, causing prices to go up like a dollar in some areas, even Austin, since a lot of the refineries are around Houston. Wow things get busy when a storm is predicted to hit in your area huh? In Singapore thunderstorms happen all the time, and no one bothers .
