RE: Gates Busy - Ryan97 - 01-01-2018 Dont quote me but im fairly sure they take up a gate all the time they are on thr ground. RE: Gates Busy - Unknown98 - 01-02-2018 If an aircraft is on ground it will use a gate. The only exception is brand new aircraft, when they are delivered they will not take up a gate initially. Somebody had mentioned maybe to only have aircraft use a gate during turnaround and then move it to a parking space somewhere. I have it on my list to look into. RE: Gates Busy - PolarMonkey - 01-02-2018 Sounds good. I guess I've never had to deactivate routes before so I hadn't noticed. RE: Gates Busy - PolarMonkey - 01-09-2018 I'm still getting the odd error about gates being busy at several airports. It's hard to tell at my 'hub' airports if it's an actual error or not, but I have seen a few airports that only have one route with a dedicated gate that get the occasional 'No Gate Available' issue. I looked back at the last one and didn't see any evidence of the flight landing multiple times or anything of the sort. RE: Gates Busy - Unknown98 - 01-09-2018 Hmm... the only thing I can think of is there being an issue with the gate status and it not changing correctly. I can look into it once I get the routes scheduling under control. If there's only 1 route with a dedicated gate going into/out of any particular airport there should never be any issues. RE: Gates Busy - PolarMonkey - 01-09-2018 If it helps at all, it was gate#11768 in NCE at Jan 09, 7:20 am (flight #105). The previous flight that landed there was at Jan 08, 11:27 pm (flight #101). Looking back through the logs, none of these flights between the two I mentioned above apparently landed. I was charged fuel and credited passenger and baggage fees, but it does not show them landing anywhere in between Flight #101 and #105. Charges for flight #102 were at Jan 08, 11:58 pm, #103 at Jan 09, 1:56 am and #104 at Jan 09, 3:54 am. I assume those are all my local time, which is the central time zone. This may be the same kind of thing that was happening with the other flights as well, but I can't remember exactly when it happened previously, and I have had a lot of flights since. If there is anything else I can do to help with this, please let me know. Edit: Sorry, forgot to mention the route ID is 4fb9f562930438b578eab4f695d818f0 RE: Gates Busy - PolarMonkey - 01-29-2018 I have some more gates stuck, showing as In Use () ATL - Gate 9960 DUB - Gate 13557 LHR - Gate 4316 - Gate 10030 MAD - Gate 6818 - Gate 10443 CDG - Gate 11494 - Gate 12111 - Gate 13770 - Gate 13771 - Gate 13772 HND - Gate 9028 - Gate 11043 RE: Gates Busy - Unknown98 - 01-29-2018 Are they fixed now? RE: Gates Busy - PolarMonkey - 01-29-2018 They all look to be in order now. I don't see any of my gates stuck anymore. Thanks. RE: Gates Busy - Unknown98 - 01-30-2018 Let me know if you notice it happen again, because really it shouldn't be happening. I don't understand how they get out of sync like that. |
