RE: Last Post Wins - WhiteFright - 08-31-2017 I just have to drive a couple hours to Flagstaff for that. In other news, apparently the MRJ is at AZA which is literally across the street from me but I have yet to see it. RE: Last Post Wins - WhiteFright - 09-01-2017 It appears my flight from PHX to AUS today is on a 737-300. Neat, it's been a while since I've been on a Classic and it's Southwest so might be one of the last flights of the particular aircraft RE: Last Post Wins - skifans - 09-01-2017 Nice, hope it goes ok. RE: Last Post Wins - WhiteFright - 09-02-2017 Turns out it was on a 737-700... darn. Was looking forward to flying on a classic :/ RE: Last Post Wins - skifans - 09-06-2017 Oh well, you'll just have to go and fly somewhere else as well. RE: Last Post Wins - sameel - 09-06-2017 University has started and it has dawned on me that I'll actually have to speak up in class and give presentations which is a problem since my voice starts shaking in such situations! RE: Last Post Wins - Unknown98 - 09-06-2017 Once they force you to do so many of them you get over it. At least I was that way. I mean after like the 15th time I was just so over the whole presentation thing lol RE: Last Post Wins - asianmattdog - 09-06-2017 As a former competitive public speaker myself... Umm... Good luck. Repletion is key, screw the people imagining the audience in their underwear (cuz it doesn't work, in fact it makes thing worse imo), and sometimes, its just better to zone out people if you have a stage fright. If you can just focus on giving your script, speech, whatever, you usually find yourself toning out the audience anyways. Just don't stumble over yourself, make it apparent, or flat out stop. Just steamroll over any blunders and you should be fine. RE: Last Post Wins - WhiteFright - 09-06-2017 Yeah, there's no better way to get over it than to just expose yourself to it. RE: Last Post Wins - Zortan - 09-07-2017 Don't worry about just in front of a class. That's much easier than in front of an entire school ! |
