I'd much rather have the updates though because of security.

I'm curious. Do universities in the UK and Europe have sports teams like they do in America? Always wondered that lol.

Not sure - I'll probably end up knowing - since it's time for me to start looking at all that.

They do but it's a lot less of deal. If your not a student at the university then most people not care, universities here (UK) don't have any form of stadiums or anything, mostly just some general purpose fields. Most of the teams seem to just exist as an excuse for a group of people who all like the same sport to socialise and chat about the sport, a significant amount of team members don't want to play. Or only want to play in a casual format between themselves and not against other teams.

Hmm, interesting. So sort of like clubs or student organizations. Yeah it's a huge deal in America. Even high school football is a big deal. School districts have spent tens of millions building stadiums around here.

RE: Last Post Wins - Carde - 09-15-2017

yeah none of that here, just clubs and organizations mostly. Sports just happen in leagues separately from schools. A major football team (for this small nation) Like Ajax will have several teams of different ages in different leagues and beside that many small local teams exist to play sports, but in the end more than a few parents next to the field is not something you will see.

So.. I'm sitting in a cafe sipping some coffee using my laptop working on a paper for my English course. Do I fit the bill of "basic white college kid" yet?

Yay? Anyway, I just reported my suite-mate to the university because he vapes in our bathroom, which smells horrible and is a violation of university policies. I don't feel bad at all.

That vaping stuff is horrid.
