Well Mercedes and Ferrari get most of the tv money, and they have huge companies behind them to pay for anything. Alonso gets just 28 million dollars a year, which is a lot considering how bad the car is performing. RE: Auto Racing - Carde - 08-28-2017 Small teams also run on paying drivers as in the drivers pay to drive the car and not the other way around. Also may just say Fuck Renault and RB at this moment, as Max said he is competing with Alonso for DNFs this season. RE: Auto Racing - sameel - 08-31-2017 Unbelievable luck for Max this season. RE: Auto Racing - Unknown98 - 09-14-2017 News is McLaren-Honda is no more, and it will be McLaren-Renault next season. Interesting to see how it'll play out. My bet is Alonso will probably stay now, at least for another year to see how competitive they are. If they can perform similarly to Red Bull, they're likely to get some podiums and maybe even a win or two as long as they have decent reliability. Should hopefully lead to a good battle for 1st-8th places on the grid. RE: Auto Racing - Carde - 09-14-2017 Yeah and now Honda moves to Toro Roso which also sends saintz to renault as part of the deal. Red Bull really wants rid of renault because after next year they are just a customer team and no longer a works team and well they have had their fair share of issues with renault. As for Mc laren they just want to get a bit more out of the new few seasons until the new engine rules come into play that is attracting more people to make engines or they might just make their own. RE: Auto Racing - Carde - 09-17-2017 Guess vettel does not want the world championship, at least that is the only conclusion I draw from that stupid move. RE: Auto Racing - Sora - 09-17-2017 Hamilton's on a roll right now. Singapore was THE track for Ferrari to get maximum points and looking at the races left this season, I don't have the highest hopes, that Vettel can turn the table in his favor. Where's Rosberg when you need him?
RE: Auto Racing - Unknown98 - 09-17-2017 Seb just drove into Verstappen there. Took out Kimi in the process. Don't really know what he was thinking. Almost like he didn't realize they were 3 wide. RE: Auto Racing - sameel - 09-18-2017 Congrats to Hamilton on winning the WDC pretty much! |
