RE: Last Post Wins - asianmattdog - 10-05-2017 Or you just take the $2k and get off the flight. Anyways, flying to LA for a convention. OMA to SLC for the first leg. B717 although i'm almost certain 717s don't fly into and out of Eppley no more, because I haven't seen any on FlightAware for a while. 2nd leg is on a B738 from SLC to LAX. I only have a 29 minute lay-over, so that should be reeeeaaaal fun getting to. On the way back is with United (woohoo ) with an LAX to DEN flight with a 772. First 777 flight ever though, so I'm looking forward to it. Then we end the leg with a sterotypical 738 from DEN to OMA.
RE: Last Post Wins - WhiteFright - 10-05-2017 Seems kind of odd to operate a short leg with a 777 but I guess it makes sense for that particular route. I hope you can get one but it sounds like the chances are pretty low The 777 is also amazing! And Whitefright I'm pretty sure LAX-DEN-LAX is a repositioning flight for the 777. Still much better then a A320 or 737 if you ask me. Over here we barely have any widebody flights in Europe.. I have yet to be on a domestic widebody flight except for a 767-400ER from HNL-IAH, which is basically international anyway Been on a half-dozen or so domestic flights with 757's and one international flight with a 757.
RE: Last Post Wins - ALT2870 - 10-06-2017 Never have had an issue with United either. Personally my airline of choice. (I got an awesome deal from Aspen to Dallas and back for $173 each way.) RE: Last Post Wins - Stebah - 10-06-2017 HNL-IAH is what, 9 hours flying? And they call that a domestic flight
RE: Last Post Wins - Sora - 10-06-2017 Thanks to airberlin's bankruptcy and (obviously) high demand between FRA and TXL, Lufthansa announced a few days ago, they'll use 747-400s on that particular route in November. Was it 61 or 69 flights in November? Still nice to see a 747 on such a short route

And yeah 9 hours sounds about right. RE: Last Post Wins - Stebah - 10-06-2017 (10-06-2017, 03:10 PM)WhiteFright Wrote:(10-06-2017, 07:54 AM)Stebah Wrote: HNL-IAH is what, 9 hours flying? And they call that a domestic flight Yeah I know but still. I just had to know for sure and HNL-IAH is between 7 and 8 hours |
