Originates and terminates in the US. And yeah 9 hours sounds about right.

Yeah I know but still. I just had to know for sure and HNL-IAH is between 7 and 8 hours

Yeah, I know LIH (Kauai)-PHX is 7 there and 6 back with wind and such and PHX-DAL is 2ish, so it makes sense, but I totally understand, its weird that Hawaii is so far away

RE: Last Post Wins - WhiteFright - 10-06-2017

Wait nino do you fly out of PHX often?

Haha a regional flight over here would take a maximum of 20 minutes Tongue
Although we do have the ABC Islands which takes over 9 hours

Alright updated itinerary for the flights.

Apparently there HAS been a 717-200 flying in and out of Eppley in recent weeks, and is scheduled to fly the OMA-SLC route on a norm now. So that's interesting as is.

Second, The 737-800 from SLC to LAX is actually a 757, as its currently slated. Much better than a 738 imo tho and I'm excited for that.

Third, the 772 flight is actually a daily flight flight, so I can only assume its in repositioning for a longer haul, although there's apparently a 77L scheduled also for two days from LAX to DEN, near the same time.

Fourth, the United 738 flight is now an A320 flight, and that'll be the first time on an Airbus. Unfortunately, its scheduled for an even later departure than originally planned, marking its time out for 8:20 pm, and its arrival back home for 10:47. Thanks for the lack of an E-Mail on that change United... Dodgy

Despite that, yay for better comfort flights! Big Grin

4 different planes sounds good Tongue Although I didn't know that a 77L was used on the LAX-DEN sector

RE: Last Post Wins - Unknown98 - 10-08-2017

That is quite a variety. Have fun!

RE: Last Post Wins - ALT2870 - 10-08-2017

United tends to fly some of their bigger stuff during the day on domestic routes so it just isn't sitting around. They also at one time (maybe still do) have domestic variants of the 777. This is nothing surprising. I actually have flown on a international 767 and dang is that thing nice. Tongue (KORD-KDEN)

They indeed still have the Boeing 777-200A (non-ER). They have actually recently re-configured them in a 10 abreast layout for the Hawaii flights!

RE: Last Post Wins - ALT2870 - 10-08-2017

Ya, that is where I knew they last used them on. I'm not sure if they fly them across the US. United has a strong history of flying wide-bodies domestically, I once saw a 747 in Denver once.

RE: Last Post Wins - Stebah - 10-08-2017

They are probably using them on repositioning flights across their bases. LAX, DEN and IAH have the 772A IIRC.
The good old times of seeing the Queen everywhere are sadly over. No more United and Delta 747's after this year.. United is ending the 747 operations at the end of the month Sad
