RE: Last Post Wins - ALT2870 - 10-10-2017 Apparently the last 747 flight sold out in less then an hour. $400 minimum and the upper deck was not sold because they plan on letting people look around. RE: Last Post Wins - WhiteFright - 10-10-2017 I would love to fly on a 747 but I may never get the chance to do so, RE: Last Post Wins - Unknown98 - 10-10-2017 I was looking at flights to London... just because... In case I have vacation to use... and I think I saw some 747 flights. British airways maybe? But they were expensive unfortunately. RE: Last Post Wins - ALT2870 - 10-10-2017 British Airways still has a massive fleet of them. Supposedly no replacement yet so we'll see. Little surprised to see them not pursue the -8. If you are worried about not fly in a 747, think it will be a while before they are gone with the -8's. RE: Last Post Wins - Unknown98 - 10-10-2017 Lufthansa bought a bunch of the -8s didn’t they? Some of those will be allowed to sit in the upper deck for the duration of flight IIRC! And Unk, Lufhty has 19 of them and 13 -400s if my data is correct. British Airways, KLM, Lufhansa, Korean Air, Air China and Qantas are some of the airlines that have already announced they will use the 747-400 into the 2020s. The -8 will probably fly until 2030 or even past that so you still have time to fly on it!
RE: Last Post Wins - asianmattdog - 10-11-2017 Must... Fly... On... Queen... RE: Last Post Wins - Sora - 10-11-2017 Stebs, the living airline fleet encyclopedia. Already flew with the -400 and the -8 in 2013 and 2015 respectively, so that's not on my non-existing list anymore.

Funny you say that as all my friends call me that haha ![]() I still have to fly on the -8I so I guess I have to go with Lufhtansa! RE: Last Post Wins - WhiteFright - 10-11-2017 I saw a UPS -8F on the production line in Seattle, does that count? |
