Airport fees - Dokhu - 03-30-2017
Hi.
I sent two aircraft from MDE to Lax.
The cost for using shared gate at LAX was $9,674.28
The airport fee - landing with no available gate at LAX was $4,000.00
We need to adjust this numbers.

Does anyone know if the airport landing free currently a flat rate or is it calculated? Remember though that not having a gate leads to a reputation penalty so it's not just as simple as shared gates not being worth it?

Then the airport should charge the normal cost for using a gate since reputation is the punishment. I mean that a small airport has lower fares and charging the same penalty fee that a large airport is not correct.

It's a flat rate of $4,000 every time it happens. I agree it should probably be changed, I just have no idea what to change it to.
While we're on this topic I'm also not sure about gate costs and how realistic they are. I mean the smaller airports can have gate leasing rates in the $100s per week, which is a little low I think.

Ok, how does something like 150% of the shared gate cost fee for 1 month sound to people? Regarding the price of the gates i have no idea, what they are like irl but at the moment balance wise i think they are ok.
