Flight numbers - Yupiter - 04-21-2017

In the fleet management page we can see two different flights with the same number:

but after refreshing this page the flight numbers are changing:

RE: Flight numbers - Unknown98 - 04-21-2017

They changed to the correct flight numbers though, correct?

There is a slight delay (~1 minute) with aircraft updating to display the correct flight numbers when on a route. I'm not sure if there's a way to fix it.

RE: Flight numbers - Yupiter - 04-21-2017

Yes, they changed to the correct flight but this issue has occurred just today.

RE: Flight numbers - Unknown98 - 04-21-2017

I'll have to keep an eye on it... one of my aircraft didn't update to show that it was en-route for some reason. Might be a related issue.

Another strange issue:

One of my aircraft has two different routes: NBO-A2...  The first route MWZ-NBO has been created on the route system page, the second one just on the fleet management page.

RE: Flight numbers - Unknown98 - 04-21-2017

Not sure I completely understand... so you did not create the NBO-MGQ route but it is showing up?

RE: Flight numbers - Yupiter - 04-21-2017

On the fleet management page this plane was ready to take off, but still on route according to flight system. I have started them to MGQ. In
effect there are two different routes.

RE: Flight numbers - Unknown98 - 04-21-2017

Ahh I see. I believe I've fixed the issue.

What was happening was the aircraft was actually en-route, but it just wasn't showing en-route on the fleet page. So then when you started the quick flight, you essentially made the aircraft go on two routes at once.

What was happening was the system was not correctly updating the status of the aircraft as they went through the route. The first leg would be fine, but then on the second leg it would show the aircraft on the ground even though it was technically in the air.

As for duplicate flight numbers, I don't think that is solved yet... I'll have to keep testing it to see why it does that.

Same flight number - skifans - 04-28-2017

I have lunched a series of flights using the quick flight feature and they all carry the same flight number:

Clicking on any of the flights also brings up the DSA->GVA flight tracker.

Edit: I noticed the active flight page seems to be showing them correctly:

A then refreshed the fleet page and the correct flight numbers are now shown:

RE: Same flight number - Unknown98 - 04-28-2017

Yep. A weird issue that Yupiter brought up. I don't know why it is happening. Seems to be a 1-2 minute delay on the fleet page before it syncs with everything and displays the correct flight numbers.
