Flights with no passengers or profit. - ch4rl1e_99 - 08-21-2018

Hi,

I recently started my airline, easyJet. I have scheduled many flights, and have aircraft.
However, there have been 21 flights since I started the airline, and none of them have had any passengers at all.
I was wondering if there is an issue with how I have setup my flights, or if it is a technical issue on part of the website?

Please let me know.  Smile

Here may be the problem: your airline reputation does not encourage passengers (you start with only 10%), so they are reluctant to fly your airline. Next is the competition - they may have lower pricing and most probably more flights and higher reputation, which draws the passengers their way. So the result is that your poor airline cannot sell any tickets at all.

To remedy this problem, I would suggest lowering your prices and try to fly more and increase reputation. The passengers will slowly start to increase as your airline improves.

Hope this helps. Good luck, happy flying, and welcome to Airline Enterprise! Smile

I have been on Airline Enterprise for a while, just restarted my airline since I wasn't too happy with the previous airline.

In all of my flights/routes, I am the only operator of that route, so there is no competition. Surely if there is no competition, passengers will be willing to pay whatever to fly to the destination?

The reason is because your aircraft do not have any seats in them. IFE configurations were just added, so now you have to create and assign a cabin configuration to all your aircraft.

I'm working on implementing this into the page where you purchase/lease new aircraft. Probably should also add a warning to the fleet page when an aircraft does not have a cabin configuration installed.

Not going to lie it took me a good 10 minutes to figure out why your flights had 0 passengers lol.
