Image Scaling Not Working - POTKC - 03-11-2017 I remembered that usually in BBCode you can put '=(width)x(height)', for example '=1200x400' into an 'img' tag to scale the image, so I typed it in like that, and instead of the image being displayed the actual text with the image link appeared. So I tried to do it the proper way, through the 'full edit' mode, put in the dimensions - and it doesn't work. If size is included in the img tag, the forum doesn't recognize it as an img tag. RE: Image Scaling Not Working - POTKC - 03-14-2017 It still doesn't work. I've tried it in two other threads, but images just don't show up if there is a scaling tag. For some reason it works in my signature but not when I try to post on the forum. Maybe it's an issue on my end...here, does this show an image or just text? RE: Image Scaling Not Working - skifans - 03-14-2017 Just done some tests as I remember this beying the case on the old CA forums and it is the same here. Your length and height must be <1000 pixels. This is why unk's example works and potkc's dosn't - but does if you decrease the size. Keep in mind the CA forums were a really outdated version of myBB, so that may have something to do with it. I've noticed these forums will automatically resize an image if the width is greater than the width of the forums as well.
