What currency are we using actually?

In the game, there is only the dollar sign, no Euro sign, Pound sign, is it that all prices are USD?

I believe that they are in USD.

I actually have a function I wrote a long time ago to convert between currencies but it's just a display thing and also depends on manual user input to the DB for keeping the exchange rates up to date - so there's not really a benefit to adding that to this game.

Maaaybe at some point far into the future we can consider using different currencies but I'd want some gameplay element to it, not just be a display thing.
