Soleado (Spanish for 'Sunny') is a private carrier based in Buenos Aires and the Jorge Newbery International Airport. Formed as a regional charter carrier in response to the nationalisation of Aerolíneas Argentinas in September 2008 along with its sister company Austral, it has slowly expanded into the domestic Argentine market despite the constraints imposed by governmental regulations. More recently since the liberal victory of Mauricio Macri in the 2015 election, its aim has been to revamp its ageing fleet and streamline its services in order to firmly establish itself as an affordable alternative within both the domestic and continental market.

Actually I've got a decent Spanish from my highschool and I'm probably going to study as an Erasmus student for a year in Madrid (la Autonoma).

Well, as mentioned above I'm planning on studying in Madrid for a year so an airline in South America would force me to learn more about this very specific airline market whilst utilising my Spanish. Although I was in Vietnam for quite a while indeed, I figured a Spanish-speaking country would have more relevance to me and allow for a deeper and more informed roleplay.

And yep, ALT's got company ahaha.

That being said, maybe a codeshare in the future? (I have one more 767 inbound and it needs a route.)

As a side note the logo itself has been changed, and more will be unveiled soon in regards to the fleet and destinations Soleado has to offer!
