Personally I do feel that some system to enable you to set flights less frequently then once per day is needed. If it can't be done with the automated system then id say don't bother and leave it as the manual one. Id be less bothered about selecting the length of time to fly the route.

Working on this now. Two things:
If there is an error in your route and it is not going to fly for whatever reason (like aircraft not located at the origin airport for example), the system will just skip the route and move on, rather than displaying an error message. Because, well, it can't display an error message if it's auto-looping through all routes. Can't display an error to someone who isn't logged in. So, I will need to come up with some alternative. Maybe sending the player a message letting them know what the issue is, or checking for those things when you enable the route on the route management page. Or maybe both.
A game reset might be required once this is implemented. So be prepared for that. I just don't know how the system will react if I switch over from manual routes to auto-routes mid-game, while there are flights already in the system. It may be okay, and if that's the case then I won't have to reset anything. But I'm not sure yet.

Okay - sounds good. I don't mind having a reset - would be a good opportunity to fix my stupid airline and re-do the ancient fleet.

That said if you do that also introduce the 5 instant deliveries thingy for the quicker start
yep that should be a quick & easy change.
