Just got this idea from browsing the Steam Community Market. Would it be possible to place a buy order for a number of aircraft from the Used Market with a set price?
For example, I want to buy 2 757-200's and pay $35mil each for both. The moment one pops up on the used market, and if the price is $35mil or less, my airline is in possession of it.
It would save a lot of grief from other airlines "sniping" planes.

It's official y'all:

Hmm... it might be possible. But how would it work if two airlines both want the same aircraft? If airline X wants a 757-200 for <$35m and airline Y wants a a 757-200 for <$33m, who gets the plane if one pops up at $30m? First come first serve?
I also don't want to get into a situation where there's never any good aircraft on the market because everyone just puts in buy orders for them. That almost makes it too easy.
Now maybe sometime in the future I can implement aircraft auctions with a maximum bid feature similar to how eBay works.

I think i prefer the idea of Auctions aswell. And as fro cheap planes... not a good thing. You end up paying in the long run in maintainence fees

Auctions would be a better option, also because just because a plane is under 35mil it might not be one you want because of the high cycle count and with that maintenance cost
