DC-3 crash in Colombia

One of the remaining DC-3s that still haul cargo and passengers in Colombia has crashed. It was HK-2494, operated by LASER; crashed at Vereda La Bendicion after declaring an emergency.

We have no idea why this aircraft crashed. It likely had nothing to do with the fact that it was 70 years old.

Yeah I know, right! I found out about both crashes the same morning. Quite the tragic coincidence.
