Just my discord thoughts to have them saved somewhere

"i have been thinking about how to bring cargo into the game... and i think it's actually not too complicated. Demand could be calculated similar to the PAX demand with the Cargo info we have - for Cabin config have basicly a Cargo "Seat" that will always fill all the slots and have a switch in the routes creation to switch between cargo or pax - and "ticketprice" is per ton or something like that"

Not really how it works. I think it's ridiculous that people are suggesting things that make the game less realistic. Look at Airwaysim's cargo thing, and look at how cargo planes are really configured. Hint - there are no "seats".

I think he means "capacity" when he said "seats" Airwaysim now has a Cargo mode?

Hint - that was just an analogy. Of course there is no seats. If you don't understand what i mean ask question but don't just assume i'm stupid. Okay? Thanks.

This is just an idea on how and where to implement the Cargo functionality.

Sorry that was really harsh. But from what I've seen you don't care about realism, and I get upset when people who don't regard realism as important start suggesting ideas.

Talking about "realism" in a game where Concordes are still flying (in higher numbers than ever were produced) and DC-8-73s are money printers is just ridiculous. If you don't like my suggestion, i could not care less, but at least make the effort to propose ideas on how it would be better. This is still a game in the end Mr. Big Bossman CEO Wink

It is well established on this forums that you(Zortan) love and adore "realistic" game play but being upset towards others because of their unrealistic airline game preferences? That's a bit too much man. Wink Chill. Sorry if I went off-topic here. This whole "game" vs "realism" thing with you has been going on for quite some time and with other players too(including me).

Anyway, you guys resume your suggestion discussion.

Just do not make the cargo contracts so automatic . It is better to have something new to look for every day than simply scheduling flights.
