how do I increase my reputation? and some routes are negative now
#1
Guys do I have to max out all of my IFS and IFE and SEAT CONFIG (and also make if free) so that I could have a good reputation?
(It may be obvious, but I really want to hear those airlines that has like 3 or more stars. How did you guys came up with a 3+ star reputation)

Follow up question: IF I were to max out my IFS and IFE (and also make it free), does it GREATLY affect route revenue?

and also my route revenue are getting smaller and some are not so good(negative revenue), so as my passengers. Is this because my reputation is small?

MAX OUT MEANING:
IFE=ALL OPTIONS AVAILABE (USB,HEADPHONES,ETC.) + ALL ENTERTAINMENT ARE ON EXCELLENT AND ON DEMAND + WIFI + BAR (ALL FREE)
IFS=SERVE ALL SNACK, MEAL, AND KIT OPTIONS (ALL FREE)
SEAT CONFIG=ALL PREMIUM SEATS

Yes, the drop in revenue and passengers is probably due to the new rep system... I have the same question about how to get more than 2-3 stars though.

I am still trying to figure it all out, since I have just restarted my airline to test out the new stuff. Zortan, please help me with the route planning!

I am quite new here so I don't have much experience with the different settings and my airline is pretty small relative to most others.

From what I can see, I do have a decently high reputation after this new update (jumped from 27% pre to 71% post).

All my routes have free maxed out IFE. My narrow bodied planes (~20) have free maxed out IFS, however, my wide bodied ones (3) don't have any IFS. I don't have the cash to upgrade those yet.

In terms of revenue, I have no idea what's the optimal setting.
Here is what I have:
I charge the base price for all my flights and most of my routes are exclusive and I am making a revenue from them.

Of those that have competition:
For seats that are empty due to low pricing from a higher class, I don't think the reputation helped.
For seats that are empty due to heavy competition, I can see that they are now filling up.

Just a note, although I didn't change anything at my end, none of these observations are properly control as I didn't take a note on what's the pricing and the frequency of the competitions prior to and after the update.

We are all learning from the new reputation system and we still do not have enough statistics. We must wait a while before we can all share experiences. Anyway, the low reputation produces enough profit to keep the airline running.

Not for me though. I'm gonna have like 20 people on a350 I'm only doing my 737 right now, but I think I'll get better soon

Me too, my airline is suffering from a complete 0% reputation right now. I am experimenting with the new IFS and IFE though - I hope to find an efficient way to achieve a very high rating while being completely realistic.

I think maybe the system is too stringent? I have maxrd out IFS and decent IFE for first and business but my economy seems to be dragging down even the first and business scores. Does having no first and business in a config which you apply to all-economy planes still count against you?

It counts against your overall reputation, but overall reputation is no longer used to calculate demand.

Each class has its own reputation and your average reputation in each class is what affects demand. So not having a business or first class in an IFS if that IFS is used on an all-economy aircraft will not affect demand for economy class.

Actually with regards to the term average I would like to clarify something. If I have one flight with J and the rep I gain for J is 100%, while I have one other flight without J (just Y and W), is the average rep for J 50% or 100%? Basically, if I don't have one class on a flight is that flight counted on my rep?
