The below is just a brief description of the airline while we wait for reset. I'll put the full details in when the game gets going again and I can give details in present tense.

IATA: FL |IACO: TRS |Callsign: CITRUS
Slogan: "You're already home. We're just taking you somewhere new."
CEO: Nathaniel Howell

About the Airline
"Airtran Airways" is new low-cost carrier owned by the "New Airtran Airways" Corporation. The Corporation has full rights to the original "Airtran Airways" trademark and branding but is a completely separate company should not be confused with the real-world carrier which was bought out by Southwest Airlines.

The New carrier will be a LCC operating service similar to, but not exactly like the original Airtran. The "New" Airline will be founded in Atlanta, Georgia and will have its main hub at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport (ATL). Airtran will focus mainly on serving the eastern United States and connecting passengers through Atlanta and other planned focus cities and hubs. There will also be a heavy focus on the Caribbean and Latin American markets with direct flights from major other US cities.

Service
Airtan is a LCC carrier, and while we aim to have the lowest prices, don't let our fares fool you, because we will offer you the best service we can. Most airlines will give you what you pay for but at Airtran we want to give you a little more than that. With other low-cost carriers you'll pay a small penny just to get you home but with airtran, you're already home, we're just taking you somewhere new.

Classes:
Airtran will offer two classes of services in the forms of Airtran Economy and Airtran First. Economy will have a regular sized, partially reclinable seat with a full seat-back tray and seat-back pouch, and an average legroom of 29-30 inches, and the First class will have wider, more reclinable seats, with outlets, headphones, and an average legroom of 36 inches. All classes will be equipped with outlets and seatback entertainment on flights nearly and over 3 hours long.

We will work our very hardest to keep our service consistent no matter the distance or aircraft you travel on.

Hubs and Focus Cities
  • Atlanta (ATL)
For now our only planned hub is ATL but in the future we hope to have focus cities in at least one major city within each region of the US.

Fleet
Our aircraft fleet will mirror the original Airtran for the most part. We plan to lease and operate used 717s and 737s to build up our network and possibly in the future we will look toward newer aircraft such as the 737MAX types or the A220.

Livery
Airtran's livery is different from the real world carrier but with similar aspects to the original. Examples below, hope you like  Smile .

I'd also like to add that I am in no way making money from this and I do not actually have any rights to original Airtran trademark. All company names or entities here are entirely made up and I do not own any rights to them. Everything else above including the use of the Airtran logo is simply for role-play purposes and nothing more. The aircraft templates are not mine, however, the actual liveries were made by me so I'd appreciate you giving me credit if you intend to use them somewhere else.

Thanks I look forward to running it. If you don't mind me asking, how do you like the livery?

A livery is a livery. You just need to love it. Personally I like it.

Interested to see how your airline will grow over time!

By the way, why do you have an old livery design on a CS300/A220-300?
