How do the prices look on used aircraft? Too expensive, not expensive enough...? I just sort of quickly came up with a price formula based off age. That will need to be amended to take into account cycles (and/or hours, miles) I'm sure. A very old aircraft with low miles should be more expensive than a very old aircraft with massive miles.
I also need to go through and add when production started for each aircraft, not just when it ended. That way I can accurately generate used aircraft with a range of different ages.

I think some airplanes are very expensive.
A300
767's
Dc-10 more expensive than md-11
747sp more expensive than 747-400
MD-80 series on wiki US $ 41.5-48.5 million

Some old aircraft are expensive and some new aircraft are very cheap. You need to find a midpoint on them.

Prices seem to be well far to high for used aircraft. Keep in mind the reason they ditch them is they need more frequent maintenance and often burn more fuel.
Second hand planes of age really aint worth much, however more relatively new planes like those dumped by the budget airlines can still fetch a decent penny.

Hmm, yeah. The MD-80s/90s are around 50 million which is far too high. I'll have to adjust the formula.
