Auto Racing

Figured I would bring this thread back, saw it on the old forums the other night when I was looking through the archives.

This thread can be used to discuss races or any news related to auto racing. Formula 1, Nascar, Indycar, IMSA, LeMans... pretty much anything. I keep up with almost all forms of racing so, I will probably be fairly active here lol.

Looking forward to Bristol this weekend! If the weather cooperates.

I only really keep up with F1 stillTongue

We might actually have a competitive season this time! Shame what's happening at McLaren though. Even though Alonso has become so entertainingTongue

I was hopeful that they would be more competitive this season, but nope... although I'm loving the competition this year. It's nice to not have Mercedes as an automatic win every race.

But we get to see Jenson race again!! Wouldn't that be something if he scored the first points for them Rolleyes

Yeah thankfully it seems competitive!

Always great to see Button!

Well... the day has come... Dale Jr is retiring at the end of this year Sad

I HAVE to get out to a race sometime this season now. I've made it my mission to see all my favorite drivers race before they retire... I've seen Jenson Button, I've seen Will Power, now all that's left is to see Dale race.

Yup. Heard about that yesterday. A HUGE blow to the racing scene nonetheless. Sad

Ferrari 1/2 in Russia qualifying!

I like it. I hope Kimi can win and prove everyone wrong that he's not too old for F1

Also it'd be refreshing to hear something other than the German or British national anthems on the podium. I've never even been to those countries but I swear I have their anthems memorized lol

Kimi will let Sebastian pass for the championship. If the Mercs could do it in Bahrain, Ferrari sure will too in Russia. Tongue
