New airlines?

I'm wondering whether the game is spammed by new airlines which don't fly?

I've seen an influx of new airlines. Just because they are new doesn't mean they aren't flying yet or going to...

But the influx of new airlines in two days only is strange. Many airlines have no aircraft...
