[FIXED] Routes not working
#1
Okay so as i mentioned yesterday i was unable to depart some of my routes because the fly route buttion was directing me back to the airline overview page. I did however manage to set up all but 4 of my routes however when i have gone online this afternoon i have found that The rotes have operated their first leg and have reset to look as if i never set them up. Some never departed at all???

Now when i click to fly the route i am still being sent to the airline overview page and the only time i stay on the routes page is when an error message is displayed such as the aircraft not being at the origin airport

Am i the only one with this issue?

I have no idea what could have caused this... I didn't change anything in the code. My routes are all working just fine from what I can tell. There's not even anything in the code that would redirect you to the overview page.

I've added the route ID column on the routes page. Can you tell me the ID's of the routes that are redirecting you? Or are all of them redirecting you?

Okay so as it stands the following routes have been scheduled however not the whole route has been scheduled and I was redirected back to the overview page when I started the route:
435
1205
1744
1391
880
1912
1671
1791

The following routes redirect me to the overview page and don't work at all

1230
1166
423
436
426
1579
435

Its so weird, i have just departed route 1391 and this did redirect me back to the routes page and has been scheduled correctly, but all the others are seeing the same issue

I now believe I know what the issue is. Give me a few hours and I'll let you know if I'm right
#6
Sorry to have caused you additional work.
I have solved the problem

What was it?

So the moral of this story is, if you ignore your problems for long enough, they'll solve themselves Smile

In all seriousness though I would like to know what was causing this, because either way it doesn't seem like proper behavior from the game just to redirect you and not show an error or anything.

Well this is going to sound really stupid but it was because the lease on my gates were beginning to run out. Where this had happened it was either operating the route until it got to the point where there was no gate (which i believe is what is meant to happen?) or it was redirecting me to the overview page with no error message!!

The moral of the story is pay attention I guess ??

Ahh... okay. No, I had forgot to even consider that when creating the route code. I'll see what I can do to solve it. At the very least it should display a message to let you know what's happening.

I also need to set it up to send a message maybe a week prior to your gate lease expiring as well.

Thanks!
