Nascar is going to use a combo oval/road course configuration at CLT motor speedway next season. Not quite an oval but not quite a road course... should be interesting. And difficult to set up the car lol. 190mph around turns 3/4 (or, I guess 12/13 now) just like always but then a road course in the middle of it.

Ha, yeah! They do race at Watkins Glen and Sonoma once a year, so they do turn right occasionally. But from my knowledge this is the first time they've incorporated elements of both an oval and a road course into the same track.

Glad Wehrlein was alright after his crash! Never seen an F1 car in such a position!

They gave Button a 3 place grid penalty IMO he was pretty far up alongside Wehrlein when it happened, should have given him more room... but glad he is okay. Really pulling for Kimi to win that but seems like Ferrari almost don't want him to win. Vettel did put in some really fast laps right when he had to though, and it paid off.
