[CONFIRMED] Gates Busy
#21
Just an update on the situation so far. Since I reset my airline it has only happened once at one of my HQ slots at LGW. Yesterday I cancelled that gate and have operated all day without the gate becoming stuck on busy. Earl days I guess but It look promising as this is the only time it has happened since

I just set up a test airline, using the same gates, aircraft types and route configurations that you are using to try to see if I can replicate the issue. We'll see if it works or not.

Even if it only happens occasionally, it's still happening though, so I need to try and figure it out.

True. I did wonder who test airlines was when I saw that earlier, I thought someone was copying me haha! I guess it was you testing it out lol.

Havent had it for a while but it has now happened at my Jersey slot JER. Lucky this one is a shared gate so it wont impact my finances

Update: Quite a major one this time that i cannot afford to fix unfortunately as they are all dedicated gates on 12 month leases.

2 gates at Manchester (MAN),
1 gate at Gatwick (LGW),
1 gate at Jersey (JER),
1 gate at Dublin (DUB),
1 gate at Glasgow (GLA).

My issue this time is because of the amount of gates that this has happened to the cost will be so great to fix it and I don't have much money so I may have to restart my airline.

You can cancel leases on the gates.
The saguaro cactus is my spirit animal and it should be yours too.
It's official y'all:

Yes but you have to pay 25% of the remaining lease and my gatwick slots are like 59,000 a week

Does it tend to happen more often when you have lots of leased gates? Or it it random for the most part.

This still has not happened to any of my airlines so I have no idea what is causing it. I don't think it's happening to every airline, only certain ones.

I have noticed this happen at a few of my gates as well (YYZ Toronto - Gate ID 4 & 254, LAX Los Angeles - Gate ID 788, 1059). I only notice this when I check the Manage... button for each airport in the gate management page, it does not show them as in use on the overall page. These have shown like this for me for a while, but I kept forgetting to mention it here.I have been adding a few flights to these locations since this began and I've noticed the warning in the financial page about not having enough gates, but I'm not totally sure it was because of this reason. I have not noticed any more gates showing in use without an aircraft for quite a while now.

The weird thi g is it hadn't happened for a while and then loada seemed to go in one hit? I woulf say for the most its random. Ill go through my ledger later and try and see if i can establish at what point it happened.
