It's an A320, registered somewhere in Australia/New Zealand/other British ex-colony, but I can't for the life of me figure out what airline. Perhaps it's a short-term leased aircraft?

Yes, but no. Its definitely an A320, but its not from a Commonwealth country. Its a newly founded airline though, if that helps you at all. Wink

Looks like an ATR 72 byt he engine, wing connection and number of windows below it.

Can for the life of me not figure out which airline though.

its definitely a turboprop, but I don't think its an ATR 72. Yet, for the life of me, I can't figure out the airline at all...

I actually don't think its any ATR family plane. The engine looks too close to the fuselage.
