It's an A320, registered somewhere in Australia/New Zealand/other British ex-colony, but I can't for the life of me figure out what airline. Perhaps it's a short-term leased aircraft?

Perhaps it's a short-term leased aircraft? Yes, but no. Its definitely an A320, but its not from a Commonwealth country. Its a newly founded airline though, if that helps you at all.

its definitely a turboprop, but I don't think its an ATR 72. Yet, for the life of me, I can't figure out the airline at all...
I actually don't think its any ATR family plane. The engine looks too close to the fuselage.
