[CONFIRMED] Same Flight Landing Multiple Times
#11
Oh, that’s just the id of the route. It’s now a 32 char key instead of a number. I can probably take that out of the message though, it was in there for testing purposes. If you name the route it will show the name instead of the id

I have named all of my routes, but they are all showing the character key on the cancel button link, which I assume wouldn't change, and the message that appears.

I have cancelled and restarted all the flights that were causing issues, and I don't see any duplicates in the scheduled flights list, but I see a new issue now (LAX - MEL - LAX again...). I noticed that one flight at the bottom of the list (MEL - LAX) seemed to be out of order so I looked back up where it should be, and there was another flight going the opposite direction (LAX - MEL) that had an ETA of 2 minutes later than the ETA of the one at the bottom of the list.

I've attached a screenshot.  The flights I'm trying to describe are the very top and bottom flights.

So I think the issue is with the textual display of the time, the "26 hours 17 minutes". It should actually be something like "50 hours 17 minutes". Because that flight is so far into the future (arrives dec 31, 03:40 UTC) the game should add 48 hours to the ETA display but it's only adding 24 hours. I will look into that to see if I can fix it.

You'll probably notice as the ETA gets within 48 hours that the time should display correctly.

Well, while I was enjoying the extra cash, since the game thinks that I'm flying so many times a day, the passenger demand is depleted and I'm getting plane loads as low as 2%, and most flights are losing money. For example, looking at the route research page for LAX - HKG, I fly that 3-4 times a week (flight time for that route is ~28 hours), but it is showing that I fly it 103 times per week.

I'll go through and cancel all the affected routes that I can see and let them sit for a day and see if that helps at all.

I have the same issue - some routes are flown multiple times, let say #9001 14 times at once ...

seems like it is fixed, not confirmed. At least I don't see multiple duplicated flights landing at the same time anymore.

This bug seems to have popped back up today. Looking through my flight history, it never started until the first flights this morning (first flight affected was a 0500 flight from CDG). I'm working on cancelling and reactivating all my flights to see if that clears it up, but I probably won't know for sure until tomorrow.

I forgot to check back on this until I saw your post in the other thread, but I took a look and haven't seen any other duplicate since 1624 Madrid time yesterday. I think that works out to around 0924 central time. I'm not sure when you had shut the server down yesterday, but maybe it fixed itself at the same time.
