Opening of new base
Alytus is proud to announce the opening of a new base of operations at Barcelona Airport (BCN).
One Boeing 787-8 will be based at the airport to start, with the starting route being to New York - Newark Airport, to be operated daily.
Eventually, Boeing 737 and Bombardier Q400 aircraft will also be based at Barcelona.
Alytus has also now started additional frequencies to Riga, Latvia from Vilnius, bringing the daily total to 8 flights. Twice daily flights to Tallinn have been introduced, and daily flights have been introduced to Corfu, Greece.

Alytus update
Alytus has many new things to announce, at the benefit of all passengers!
New Aircraft!
Alytus has acquired several new aircraft, including three Bombardier Q400s (2 delivered new from Bombardier), four Boeing 737 MAX 8s, five Boeing 787-8s, and two Embraer E190s.
New routes!
The new route additions are as follows:

Alytus has also introduced connections between flights. Passengers are now permitted to connect between two flights at no additional cost. For example, if you're looking for a cheap way to get from Amman to Riga, simply connect in Vilnius, and your bags will be connected through the entire journey.
New Base!
Alytus has entered an agreement with Kaunas Airport, Lithuania (KUN) for four gates, which will be used for four brand-new Embraer E190-E2 aircraft upon delivery. Boeing 737 and Bombardier Q400 aircraft will also be based at KUN.

Alytus is at the Farnborough Airshow!
We're late to the party, but we're glad to be here! We have tons of new announcements to make, starting with one right now!
We are starting a codeshare agreement with Olympus on selected flights. Alytus passengers are now able to book Olympus' flight from Barcelona to Athens, as well as all Olympus flights out of KGS and CFU. Olympus will also be launching a new ATH-VNO route on the A320neo, which Alytus passengers will be able to book as well. Alytus passengers can also now book all of Olympus' long-haul flights out of ATH to a multitude of destinations around the globe. Olympus passengers are now also able to book Alytus long-haul flights out of Barcelona, with further agreements on Alytus flights possible coming soon.

Additional Codeshares!
The Farnborough Airshow is in a frenzy, with airline upon airline making announcement after announcement!
Alytus has decided to put a brand-new Embraer E-190-E2 aircraft that is about to be put into commercial service on display at the airshow! Guests can tour the aircraft, and learn about Alytus and all it has to offer!
Now, the good stuff!
First of all, Alytus is introducing a new codeshare with Trans American Airlines, a leading North American carrier. The two airlines will be working closely together for as long as the foreseeable future! The routes that will be codeshared are as follows:
TAA's new route from Atlanta to Vilnius onboard their award-winning Boeing 767-300ER
Alytus' entire short-haul route network in Vilnius, including routes such as Amman, Riga, Tallinn, Moscow, Istanbul, and more!
TAA's entire network out of Atlanta, including cities such as Toronto, Chicago, and more!
The second carrier Alytus is codesharing with is Lone Star Airlines of the USA! Alytus passengers arriving into Newark Airport can choose to continue their journey onto Austin, Texas, and even further, with Lone Star's huge global network! Lone Star passengers arriving at Newark Airport can choose to continue on to Vilnius or Barcelona, and from there, have access to a wide range of European and Asian route choices!

Alytus is proud to announce additional routes, which will be starting later this month.
This will be the start of a new base at Kaunas, Lithuania, where four Embraer E190-E2 aircraft will be based. The first three daily flights have been announced, additional flights will be coming shortly on the three other aircraft, the new routes will be announced closer to the delivery date of these aircraft.
The new routes are as follows:
Kaunas to Larnaca, Cyprus - Once daily
Kaunas to Moscow-Vnukovo - Twice daily
Both routes are being operated by state of the art Embraer E-190E2 aircraft, and will start on July 25th, 2018. As usual, passengers can expect low fares, friendly staff, and more!

Alytus is also increasing connectivity with codeshare partner Trans American Airlines - we will be adjusting our VNO-EWR route by one hour in order to allow for connections with TAA's brand-new Atlanta to Newark flight, to be operated in the near future! VNO-EWR route adjustments are in effect immediately.
Alytus is also awaiting the start of Lone Star Airlines' new Austin to Vilnius route, to be started in the near future, which will allow passengers to remove another connection from their journeys! The route will be announced by Lone Star in the coming weeks.

Alytus is proud to announce several new updates about the airline and service!
New Aircraft!
Alytus has recently received four new planes, two Boeing 737 MAX 8s, one Embraer E190, and one Boeing 787-8.
New AoC!
Alytus has acquired an Air Operator's Certificate in Spain, allowing for more freedom to/from the country.
New Base!
Alytus has opened a new base in Palanga, Lithuania, a popular destination for tourists and business travelers alike! One Embraer E190 aircraft will be based at Palanga (PLQ), and the initial destinations are as follows:
Moscow-Vnukovo - Once Daily
Rome - Ciampino - Once daily
Zurich - once daily

New Codeshare!
Alytus is proud to announce a new codeshare agreement with AirBaltic of Latvia! The two airlines will be codesharing on the following routes:
Alytus routes are in blue, and airBaltic routes are in green.
Both airlines are ecstatic about the new opportunities for passengers. Those connecting into Alytus Supreme on a long-haul flight may use the airBaltic lounge at Riga, and airBaltic Business class passengers may use the Alytus lounge at Vilnius.
