There will be a new feature where the game will deliver used planes automatically I think, but I doubt you’ll be able to do quick flights like that.

That was just brought up in chat, what will probably happen is you can operate them in order to reposition an aircraft, but there will be no passengers.

Will the ferry flights have longer ranges since there are no passengers?

At some point yes, but I don't think right away. I need to implement dynamic range which will take care of that (changing range depending on aircraft load)
