Pichu America launches flights to Las Vegas, operations to begin from next week.
Las Vegas - Pichu America became the latest airline to operate flights to the city of Las Vegas, via the McCarran International Airport. In a press conference held yesterday evening, the airline's Chief Operarions Officer Tommy Goodison confirmed weeks of speculation that the airline was going to launch flights from the city, in a bid to increase the airline's presence in the west coast. Pichu America will serve domestic destinations for now, but Mr Goodison did not rule out possible international flights from the city. "For us it is currently a matter of priorities. Given an infinite fleet size, we would launch all the routes we want, but now that our fleet is limited, we will have to consider what are the demands of this airline and its passengers." According to the COO, the city will have daily flights serving the cities of San Francisco (SFO), Los Angeles (LGB), Dallas (DFW), Tampa (TPA) and New York (JFK). Tickets are opened to Pichu frequent-flier program members for booking from 12th to 13th September, with the public able to purchase tickets from 14th September onwards. With regards to recent storms affecting the South-east region and the Caribbean, such as Tropical Storm Issac and Hurricane Florence, Mr Goodison stressed that the airline is unaffected by both storms, apart from minor delays due to unstable weather in the region. He reiterated that some flights to Tampa will be delayed to flight rerouting due to Hurricane Florenece. The flights affected include the New York - Tampa and Washington D.C. - Tampa routes. Passengers for these flights and other flights flying into Tampa, Washington or New York are expected to experience 10-20 mins delays in departure times and flight times, as their aircraft may be used to fly the affected routes, or my be rerouted to avoid the storms. The RP here seems ok but I must agree with Zortan that naming yourself the 'ultimate airline roleplayer' is really weird...

Air Pichu Group agrees to purchase of 12 Embrarer E190 aircrafts
Air Pichu is pleased to announce the signing of an agreement for the purchase of 12 Embrarer E190 aircrafts, with an option to purchase another 30 more of this type of aircrafts. The Embrarer E190 aircrafts was chosen as the aircraft that we plan to operate in our short haul and domestic flights, after long periods of consideration in which we considered various aircrafts such as the Sukhoi SSJ100, the A220-100, and the Q400 NextGen. However, with consideration of the various factors, such as aircraft maintenance fees, fuel efficiency, and capacity, we have decided to go with Embrarer and their E190 aircrafts. The E190 aircraft will be fully equipped with IFE and WiFi, and will have a seating configuration of 81 Y, 10 Y+, and 6 J. 4 of these aircrafts will go to Pichu America, while 8 of them will go to Air Pichu. With the deliveries starting on the 28th September, passengers can expect these planes to be in full operation by the 1st of October. With regards to the routes they will be operating on, Air Pichu and Pichu America will be launching their routes separately at another time. For now, however, both Air Pichu and Pichu America have confirmed that they will be launching new destinations, in the next route launch, with Air Pichu promising flights to Chengdu, while Pichu America confirmed that Boston and Philadelphia will be destinations that will be coming soon.
