Air Pichu Group

"As Air Pichu rises in popularity in India and other parts of the world, we need to build on expanding our route map, increasing our destinations, while reallocating our resources to ensure that we can serve more people. For example, we can reallocate the A380 operated on our DEL-TPA route with A359s, moving A380s on other high density routes," answered Vinatash Shanti, to queires at the last director meeting.

Coming into work on a humid morning, Mr Shanti sat down on his COO seat and wondered what could be enxt for the airline. As he opened his email, he saw an urgent mail from the CEO, John McHeffery.
After reading it, Vinatash Shanti stared at the email on her computer screen. Stunned and shocked at the decision by Mr McHeffery with regards to the airline, he quickly called up the publicity and design department. "Okay, we have new things to do with regards to advertisment."
The head of the publicity and design department, Ms Anish Bodhavaii, is a young girl with lots of ideas. Lots of crazy ideas, to be exact. "Yes, what can I do for you sir?" Whatever conspired between them next was done really quickly. Even Ms Shanti did not believe what she was hearing. "Spanish advertisments? But... we have no Spanish-speaking workers that could design one suitable for that group of people?" she asked. "The Chinese advertisements are fine, but seriously, Spanish? The next thing you will tell me is that we are opening a Spain or Latin America-based subsidary, right?"
"Not yet. But we are just resuming some routes, don't you see? With our brand new aircrafts delivering soon, we can push for the world's longest flight, can't we?" replied Mr Shanti. The smile was on his face as he thought of what routes he was going to plan for his airline. As he hung up the call, he muttered to himself, "So what if we can't operate flights to Hong Kong or Shenzhen or Hangzhou? We can go the distance, can't we?"

Mr McHeffery informed the Pichu America operating team about the recent quick lease of 40 A359s, including 20 ULR-versions. Furthermore, there are also A321neos that were leased in an agreement, with another option to purchase A320neos in time to come. He also told them their allocation of the aircraft. "Hopefully we can see more international routes and domstic destinations!"

The reply from Pichu America's COO came quick. "Hopefully we could invade a particular city in the MidWest to provide cheap flights from their hub into ours. However, that means that we need slightly more narrowbodies and invasion by our Indian counterparts."

Mr McHeffery looked at the email with delight. "Maybe I should make a formal announcement about our fleet expansion."

Air Pichu receives first A350-900ULR, confirms purchase of 8 B737 MAX 8, as well as lease of Dreamliners

Delhi - As Air Pichu receives the first of the group's 20 A350-900ULR at the Indian capital airport today, the CEO confirmed another lease of 20 B787-9s, as well as another purchase of B737 MAX 8 for the group.
"With the expansion of our fleet, Air Pichu Group will aim to serve more destinations in the region, with an aim on European and South American destinations. We hope that this will mark a new era in the expansion for our group, and we hope that we could serve more people throughout the world and make travel easy for all."
The A359ULR will be used for the airline's longest flight between Delhi and Santiago, starting on the 21/10 for a 3 times a week schedule, before switching to daily schedule upon receipt of the second A359ULR.

Flight schedule for the route is as below:
Delhi - Santiago

PCH702/704 SCL 1235 DEL 1725 (+1) 359

Breaking the limits

As we prepare for the delivery of our 2nd A359ULR, we are starting to see how it could potentially break the limits of air travel. As many airlines start to appreciate this aircraft, here at Air Pichu Group, we are planning routes that could serve a larger consumer market, and could allow never-seen before long routes. Routes that previously require 1 or 2 stops now can be served non-stop!
The fuel efficiency of the A350 series greatly helped to cut costs. Unlike its predecessor, the A345, the A359 with its 2 engines are much more fuel efficient. Routes that were previously unthinkable are now in the pipeline as we receive our A359s.

So you must be wondering, why are we praising this A359? While we push for daily flights on the Delhi-Santiago route, which is a relatively long route, we are attempting another impossibly long route -- a route from US to Australia, non-stop, in just under 21 hours! A distance of 11.1 thousand miles served in one flight? With the A350-900ULR, we are making it a reality for all!
The route will begin on 10th November, starting 3 times weekly, with a frequency upped to once daily when the 2nd A359ULR joins the Pichu America fleet. Something that would currently require a stopover now could be done directly!

The flight plan is as follows:

From Indianapolis - IND to Perth - PER
PAC601/603 IND 1000 PER 1820 359

From Perth - PER to Indianapolis - IND
PAC602/604 PER 2330 IND 0750 359

Furthermore, the flight comes into Indianapolis by 8am, which helps to connect to our flights departing Indianapolis between 8.50am and 10am with short connecting flights. The flight also departs Indianapolis at 10am, which allows arriving passengers to connect to domestic flights with Pichu America!
Flights on the IND-PER route are available for booking at pichugroup.com, from as low as $1850 on Economy class! Definitely, as we receive more of the A359s, we will be launching more long haul routes, so stayed tuned!

New Destinations

As part of Air Pichu's expansion into Europe, we have decided to operate to more destinations in Europe, which is why we are proud to announce the following destinations and route to our new destinations!

In Eastern Europe, we will be operating to Moscow and St. Petersburg, 2 destinations that would serve as the start to our expansion within Scandinavia, the Baltics and Russia. Both destinations will be served by Air Pichu from Delhi, with additional flights from Mumbai coming soon.

In Central Europe, Air Pichu announced an all-business flight to Malmo, operating 4 times weekly from Delhi, with another 3 times weekly from Mumbai. Air Pichu will also launch a flight to Rome.

In a change from previous practices, Air Pichu Group will stop publishing updated timetables on their website whenever there is a route launch. Passengers can do a search on our website to find out about our timetable.

Breaking the Monopoly with Cheaper flights

The group is always looking to break monopolies and provide cheaper travel for all. As a result, the group would like to launch new flights on routes which are broken with high prices and ridiculous monopolies!

For instance, here is an example of an European destination, Madrid. Flights to Madrid from either America or India have been dominated by multiple airlines.
But fret not. With Pichu America now launching flights to that destination, the monopoly is going to break soon.
Just take a look at the latest advertisement published in the New York Times, Tampa Bay Times, and the Philadelphia Inquirer:

These low prices are definitely unrivaled in the industry. This is especially looking at the PHL-MAD route, where current prices served by our competitors are approximately $1200 per way.

Meanwhile, look at another route, PHL-IND. Served by other airlines 7 times daily. Originally, we also had this route served by our E190. But a look at our rivals reveal that the route is seriously a joke. With average prices at $215, we found that we should serve the route using a wide body, at way cheaper prices. And we did. We upped our schedule to twice daily, with an additional route by 747-200. PAC185 will fly to Indianapolis from Philadelphia at 5.10pm and return as PCH186 at 9.55pm. To celebrate, we would like to offer prices at $145!

Breakup of the airline

After negotiations with various buyers, we have confirmed that the Air Pichu operations in India and Pichu America operations have been sold to different owners.
Air Pichu has been facing issues in recent weeks, owing to disagreements among owners and board of directors, which results in recent operations being disrupted. Even plans to start flying to new destinations were not agreed among stakeholders and the board alike.

With that, we would announce the termination of operations under the Air Pichu brand. Operations would not be affected, however, as both airlines will continue operating under their own brands. Code-shared flights will continue to be honored until end of Mar 2019, where both companies would decide on the airlines' future. With effect 7th Jan 2019, Air Pichu would be known as Jet India Airways, while Pichu America would be known as Northern Bird Airlines.

We thank you for all your support through the past year, and we hope that you would continue to support both airlines.

TL; DR I decided to reset this airline. I never liked the way the airline was going anyway, and with many changes, I decided to reset to get myself up to find out more about some aspects of the game and to go all out to test bugs and game mechanics, considering this is a game in beta and reset is impending. I would focus on my Phoenix Airlines brand, which is something I had been planning since my days in other Airline Simulation and the times when I decided to do Discord Rping, and you can read more about that rp in that post. With that, this marks the end of this roleplaying and the Air Pichu brand.
