There is an extra airport in Turkey known as Istanbul Airport (IGA), with 90 million annual passengers. There is another airport in the game at exactly the same location with the same name but an IATA of ISL and 20 million annual pax. ISL is a real airport currently under construction, but IGA is not an airport in Instanbul, Turkey.
IGA is the IATA code for Inagua Airport, Matthew Town, Inagua, Bahamas. IGA is also the name of the group who are building and managing the new Istanbul Airport (ISL); this may have caused the mistake in the IATA code, but I don't understand why there is a an entire new airport there that apparently does not exist in the real world
.
In 2017 Istanbul Atatürk Airport (IST) handled 63,727,448 passengers; in game it says 60,119,215, so that may need an update. The current airport data at IGA says 90 million, which is somewhat obviously incorrect (such a perfect number
); the large number seems to actually be the combined number of pax handled at both Istanbul Atatürk Airport and Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
