Perhaps a daily check feature...maybe automatic after the first landing of the (in-game) day? This could be made to not take up any time, just cost a set amount for each aircraft, deducted after the first landing of the day as 'maintenance costs'. And the B, C, D checks could be done when the time comes. An alert saying 'it's time for the D check on N552KL' or whatever the registration and check is, and a button you can press to start the check. Maybe buying in-house engineering services or other upgrades of the sort could reduce the cost of maintenance checks?
