Such a wonderful time of the year
"God damned useless idiot politicians!" Sigrún shouted as a thousand pound phone went flying through the air smashing into into one of the glass walls of her office shattering it completely. After the outburst she dropped down into her chair again taking some deep breaths to calm herself down again. All the years in the service she had to deal with the consequences of political decisions, but never before had they been so utterly and completely frustrating. "Fucking hell." she quietly uttered as she spotted Jaine entering her office, of course timed just after the worst of her outburst had ended.
Jaine looked at the remains of the phone picking it up between her fingers and holding it out as in inspecting it. "I will have IT bring you a new one Ma'am and perhaps while they handle that I can arrange for some tea?" she said politely and in a completely normal tone.
"Please do and find some one from legal for me, I am going to give this particular nuke to them to handle." Sigrún said letting out an other deep sigh. She absolutely hated life right now, this was the time of year for good spirits and joy, but instead of that she had been dealing with one battle after the next without even going into the general issues at hand like brexit.
"I will be back in 5 ma'am." Jain said leaving the office shattered phone in hand, it had been the third one this month. It was clear to her that her boss was reaching her limits. It also didn't help that she spend a lot of time in the office lately and not remotely enough time outside too unwind. Which was odd as Jaine was more used to drag her boss out of a nightclub, but it seems the stress was truly getting to her.
With that in mind her first stop was Legal where she spotted Michael, "Michael, ma'am wants to see some one from legal, just be prepared she is on edge." she said holding up the phone to add weight to her words. The look she got back from Michael was one of concern as he unplugged his laptop and got up, "Better go see her right away then, thanks Jaine." and with that he hurried off.
Jaine's next stop was IT with Elisa, "Elly you around?" she asked into the somewhat messy workspace of Elisa. "Yeah over here, what you need Jaine?" Elisa asked arriving as out of nowhere from one of the corners. "An other one." Jaine said holding out the phone. "Jeez what the hell is our Valkyrie doing with these things? It is not like they come for nothing, but luckily I got one spare left, give me this one and I clone it if I still can." Elly said and just took the phone out of Jaine's hand. "Thanks love, I will come by and pick it up later, you really do not want to be around ma'am today." Jaine said with a somewhat bitter smile. "No need to tell me twice, got the feeling she aint waiting till you are death to send you to onwards and in this mood it won't be valhala for sure." Elisa said before walking back into the depths of her office.
With that part handled Jaine made her way to the kitchen to prepare a pot of tea for Sigrún hoping that by the time she was done her boss would have calmed down a little and perhaps find some time to leave the office early for a day.
