1: Do you have an airline name? If yes, what's the potential name?
Although I'm not completely certain of the name, I was thinking given its base in France I would call it "Air Liberté" or Liberty Airlines (depending if I wish to anglicize the name as other french carriers have done such as French Blue)
2: What's the background of the airline, if you have one already "made up"?
Obviously it would not be state funded like Air France, and would probably be centered around a traditional patriarchal wealthy family, a fictional name could be "Lockart" (my french grandmother's madden name). It's aim would be to rejuvenate the french airline market around competitive pricing, intelligent price compartmentalization and good IT services for a quality marketing and communication strategy. Striking a similar vibe to the minimalist modern carriers, a clean all around business look with nich-aircraft picking (such as LR Airbus 321s from Paris to the East Coast).
3: Where will your airline be HQ'ed and where will be your primary focus of initial operations?
I would like it to start in Bordeaux as a traditional yet booming city in the french economy. It would offer some second-tier services to less competitive European destinations first, establishing a solid basis of frequent flyers until we hit the rest of the market (business hubs, taking over Paris, dominating both a wide network and seasonal holiday destinations).
4: What's your airline's main goals of growth?
-Become a competitive alternative to Air France whilst diversifying its operations through a low cost branch (to kick out Easyjet and Norwegian Air Shuttle from the market along with Volotea and Vueling) whilst not forgetting the traditional french overseas destinations (La Réunion, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Abidjan, Dakar, Algers, Beirut, etc).
5: What's your airline's "ultimate goal"?
Become a French reference for travel whilst maintaining the traditional reputation Air France has achieved, make it seem like an 'organic' home-grown company with a touch of 'French tech' and young vibrant corporate ethic.
